In this episode I share my conversation with one of my teachers, Rachelle Seliga.
Rachelle is a devoted Mother and Midwife whose work is dedicated to midwifing a cultural shift - where our innate wisdom, personal authority and the sanctity of Life are honored and centered. Her legacy work is INNATE Postpartum Care - Certification Training, which teaches the global postpartum tradition of "Physiologic Postpartum Care,” the unifying tradition etched into the blood and bone of postpartum women. Rachelle lives and works from the understanding that: The most effective and powerful usage of our respective & collective energy, comes from following that which is most alive in us - and creating from THIS place. In this way systems and structures that align with Life and our connection with it - are born.
In this episode we get into:
The reunification of the human race through realigning with the physiologic design of thriving life
The centuries-long genocide of Indigenous European medicine women, midwives, and keepers of traditional wisdom
How the intergenerational trauma of this mass genocide still lives on in the bodies of European descendants
How the Witch Trials paved the way for the creation of the male-dominated field of modern gynecology and obstetrics which was first practiced upon European women and was then used on Indigenous women of the “Americas” and enslaved African women
How the loss of Indigenous European wisdom ways and medicine traditions still impacts modern day birth workers, doulas, gynecologists, midwives, and women’s reproductive healthcare practitioners
The work of developing and trusting our personal authority in our ongoing process of spiritual evolution and maturation
How the European Witch Trials impact men in their process of being birthed into fatherhood
The birth imprints of infant male circumcision and how they unconsciously damage a man’s ability to show up for the birth of his own child later in life
The creation of “Whiteness” and the long-term impact of the loss of European Indigeneity
May this episode help bring us all back into right relationship with the truth of our collective wisdom, knowing, and aliveness! Enjoy!
